PMO for testing a newly developed eMobility Service Provider software
Challenge
On a software development project with numerous stakeholders, a PMO had to be set up during the transition from development to testing to ensure ownership, progress and transparency of those responsible for the test cases
Approach
Classic PMO activity, i.e. e.g.
Challenging the test cases per test stream (process descriptions, acceptance criteria, etc.) for completeness, correctness and clarity
Organization and moderation of daily testing jour fixes with all stakeholders involved in the respective test stream
Daily recording and tracking of the next steps including responsibilities and deadlines
Promoting communication between relevant parties on urgent topics and ad-hoc organization and moderation of topic-related escalation meetings
Maintaining the overall project plan and flagging possible delays
Regular reports to the Steering Committee regarding progress, status and blockers
Result
Completed all testing tasks on time before the GoLive
